    The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is a Central Armed Police Force eastablished to provide security to industrial undertakings in the public sector. Over time, its mandate expanded to include airports, seaports, metro networks, government buildings, nuclear and space installations, and even VIP protection. CISF is also the only force in India with a dedicated fire wing. It operates on a cost-reimbursement model, meaning the organizations it protects bear the cost of deployment.
